Our Client a TOP 20 Pharmaceutical company with a wide range of products are now looking to recruit a Clinical Scientist. The purpose of this role is to effectively plan , manage and execute assigned clinical trials to ensure that timelines, budget, and quality standards are met. You will have experience ranging from 3 - 4 years experience in clinical research which will include site monitoring to having experience of budget control and matrix management systems. Experience of Diabetes is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical trials performed in the UK to time and within budget to fulfil the requirements of the drug development plan
- Select and manage clinical investigators with the appropriate expertise , resource and facilities to conduct and deliver the trial to the company protocol and ICH - GCP Guidelines.
- Manage, mentor and support the CRAs allocated to ensure efficient and effective trial conduct to ensure efficient ad effective trial conduct and positively promote teamwork and CRA development.
- Identify the necessary timelines and resources (financial and manpower) for each trial and manage to achieve targets.
- Develop and optimise communication with trial teams and local management to ensure all functions are aware of trial related topics and that all trial related outcomes are delivered within time to quality and to budget.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in life sciences or nursing qualification
3-4 years experience in clinical research , in include experience of on site monitoring and clinical trial management
therapy area knowledge over a number of therapeutic areas
experience of controlling budgets
Experience of matrix management
